The mayor of London and Lyca Mobile welcome you to celebrate the Sikh New Year festival on Trafalgar Square!

Celebrations begin at 12 noon, with Sunrise Radio's very own Raj King and Tony Patti hosting proceedings from 2pm.

Featuring live performances from H Dhami, Veronica, Shekie N Sham, Jaz Dhami, Navin Kundra, Freemix, D Boy and Des C, and Asli Baharan Punjab Dhian.

There'll also be traditional music and religious songs, dancing and vegetarian food.

An award ceremony will present young achievers from the Sikh community for their work in the arts, sport and education and for contributions to their community.
